Recently, Standard Glass and all of its employees embarked on a group trip to the National Glass Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada where we spent 5 days immersing ourselves in all things new in the glass industry (and of course enjoying the Strip for a bit!). Our next group voyage is to The International Glass Trade Fair in Germany, and we are working hard towards it.
At Standard Glass we are constantly striving for further advancement. We are continually
educating ourselves in all branches of the industry, acquiring and mastering the latest
technology, and working to improve the scope and the efficiency of all, and even our most basic, operations. Online courses in glazing and other fields of the industry are funded by Standard so that we may all further our knowledge of the field.
We have hosted summer seminars on new glass technology of Germany, where our employees
and peers learned to use high-tech glass cutting instruments, vinyl programs for custom
sandblasting, and the ever challenging but always inspirational UV Bonding process.
